Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and highly trained Armed Executive Protection Agents to join our San Jose, CA team. This role involves delivering top-tier personal security services to executives, high-profile individuals, and celebrities in a variety of environments including residences, events, and during travel. You will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, security planning, and responding to potential threats. As part of the role, you must be adaptable, maintain composure under pressure, and make swift decisions in high-risk situations.

Shift Information:

Given the nature of executive protection services, your schedule will vary depending on the assignment and client needs. Typical shifts may include:

  • Day Shifts: Typically aligned with the client’s business hours or schedule (8-12 hour shifts).
  • Evening & Night Shifts: Protection may be required outside of standard working hours or for overnight security details.
  • On-Call/Reserve: You may be required to be available for urgent assignments or last-minute details.
  • Weekend & Holiday Work: Executive protection may also require coverage during weekends, holidays, or special events.

Key Responsibilities:

Given the dynamic nature of executive protection, your responsibilities will vary depending on the assignment and client requirements. Key responsibilities may include:

  • Providing armed close protection services for high-profile clients, ensuring their safety in various environments.
  • Conducting thorough threat assessments and developing detailed security plans for clients in different settings, such as homes, events, and during travel.
  • Performing security patrols and maintaining a constant, secure presence around clients.
  • Ensuring safe transportation of clients when required, managing secure travel routes and vehicles.
  • Responding effectively to security incidents and emergencies.
  • Maintaining communication with the broader security team and operations center to coordinate security measures.
  • Drafting and submitting detailed reports on security activities and incidents.
  • Upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in every aspect of the job.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of military, law enforcement, or executive protection experience.
  • BSIS Guard Card (or state equivalent).
  • BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit (or equivalent state certifications).
  • Valid CCW permit for carrying a concealed firearm.
  • Exceptional physical fitness and endurance to handle long hours on protective details.
  • Excellent situational awareness and the ability to make quick, decisive actions.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and the public.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and experience in secure transportation.
