Job Description:

We are seeking highly qualified Armed Security Drivers to join our San Francisco team. This role involves providing armed security during the transportation of high-profile clients, ensuring their safety at all times. As an Armed Security Driver, you will be responsible for monitoring surroundings, responding swiftly to security threats, and maintaining a secure and confidential environment during client transit. Exceptional driving skills, situational awareness, and a professional demeanor are essential for this position.

Shift Information:

Schedules for Armed Security Drivers will depend on client needs and may include:

  • Day Shifts: Shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, generally during business hours or as per transport requirements.
  • Evening & Night Shifts: Security details that extend into late hours based on client assignments.
  • Overnight Shifts: Extended assignments requiring overnight driving.
  • On-Call/Reserve: Being on-call for urgent or last-minute security assignments.
  • Weekend & Holiday Work: Providing coverage during weekends or holidays as required by specific client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of an Armed Security Driver include, but are not limited to:

  • Safely and securely transporting high-profile clients to and from designated locations.
  • Maintaining a visible, professional, and armed security presence during client transport.
  • Conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle security and readiness.
  • Monitoring surroundings for potential security risks during transit and responding appropriately.
  • Addressing security incidents swiftly and effectively to ensure the client’s safety.
  • Maintaining communication with clients, security teams, and operational support personnel.
  • Ensuring confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism throughout all engagements.
  • Providing detailed post-transport security reports as required.
  • Complying with all safety protocols and legal regulations pertaining to firearms and defensive driving measures.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the Armed Security Driver role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • 5+ years of experience in military, law enforcement, or armed security roles.
  • Valid BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit.
  • Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW/LEOSA/HR218).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong physical fitness and capability to perform defensive driving and security tasks.
