Job Description:

We are currently seeking highly trained Armed Executive Protection Agents to provide personal security services for high-profile clients, including corporate executives and other prominent individuals, in the Palo Alto area. This role will require you to maintain the safety and security of clients through proactive threat detection and the development and execution of robust security plans.

The ideal candidate will have extensive military or law enforcement experience, strong tactical skills, and the ability to adapt to various security environments. You will be expected to carry out duties with professionalism, discretion, and excellent situational awareness.

Shift Information:

Shifts for the Armed Executive Protection Agent role will vary depending on the client’s needs and assignments. Potential shifts include:

  • Day Shifts: Typically aligned with the client’s schedule, ranging from 8 to 12-hour shifts.
  • Evening & Night Shifts: Offering protection services during late hours or overnight.
  • On-Call/Reserve: For urgent or last-minute security needs.
  • Weekend and Holiday Work: Some assignments may require coverage during weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Armed Executive Protection Agent, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing armed close protection services to high-profile clients, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Monitoring the client’s surroundings and anticipating potential security threats or vulnerabilities.
  • Responding swiftly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies.
  • Coordinating with other security personnel and the operations center to ensure cohesive protection strategies.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the job.
  • Providing detailed incident reports and updates to the operations team as required.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the Armed Executive Protection Agent position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in military service (with an honorable discharge), law enforcement, or a similar executive protection role
  • BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit (or equivalent certifications)
  • Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW/LEOSA/HR218)
  • Strong physical fitness, endurance, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations
  • Excellent situational awareness, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments
  • Knowledge of defensive tactics, emergency response procedures, and secure transportation techniques
